As Baylor prepares for its season opener against Auburn, the team has released its official depth chart, revealing key position battles that are still ongoing.

Among the notable matchups is the competition for the third wide receiver spot, where Jadon Porter and Dre'lon Miller are listed as co-starters. Miller, a transfer from Colorado, missed some practice time due to injury but is recognized for his playmaking abilities.

Porter, who had nine receptions for 85 yards last season, has also made a strong case for a significant role this year, suggesting he will likely be the No. 4 receiver regardless of who starts.

The offensive line lineup aligns with expectations, particularly after transfer Yakiri Walker's NCAA battle. Koltin Sieracki has moved to center, joining Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Asher Hale at right guard, and Kaden Sieracki at right tackle. Kaden is the only returning full-time starter, while the other three players are recent transfers who have earned their spots.

Defensively, the depth chart shows a competitive situation at both nose tackle and strong safety. Hosea Wheeler, an Indiana transfer, is in a co-starter position with Marshall transfer Jamaal Whyce Jr. at nose tackle. Similarly, Jacob Redding is listed alongside Devin Turner at strong safety.

Both Wheeler and Redding are expected to play significant roles this season, with Redding having been a standout defensive player last year.

At tight end, Matthew Klopfenstein has been chosen over Florida transfer Tony Livingston. Klopfenstein, who caught eight passes for 73 yards last season, will take on a larger role in his fourth year with the team. While Livingston is anticipated to contribute, his exact role remains to be seen.

Further details about the team's strategies and player performances leading up to the game against Auburn are not yet clear.
