**Dallas, Texas** — Spain advanced to the 2026 FIFA World Cup final after beating France 2-0 on July 14 at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, the semifinal staged for the North Texas host market.

Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute. Pedro Porro added Spain's second goal in the 58th minute, according to FIFA's official match record.

The official statistics recorded 10 attempts for each side. France put three shots on target, while Spain had two, and the final score sent Spain to Sunday's championship match.

Reuters reported that Spain will face the winner of the England-Argentina semifinal. The Dallas-area match was one of the tournament's two semifinals.
