Dallas, Texas — The Dallas Mavericks added guard-forward Jett Howard on a two-way agreement July 20, while requesting waivers on forward Tyler Smith.
Howard arrives after three seasons with Orlando. The Magic selected him 11th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, and Dallas listed him at 6-foot-8 and 215 pounds in its announcement.
In 55 appearances for Orlando in 2025-26, Howard averaged 5.5 points. The Mavericks said the deal's terms were not disclosed.
The move fills a two-way spot after Smith's departure. Howard's new contract is for the 2026-27 season, according to Hoops Rumors.
