Harsh expressed his anxiety while waiting to learn about his roster status. In a recent appearance on Texans radio, he shared, "I talked to my mom, and my dad and I was just kind of waiting for a phone call... Then I seen the roster get released, and I was like, Oh my gosh.
Like, that is pretty cool, man." His reaction highlights the significance of this achievement, especially as he shares the moment with his family.
Despite missing the first preseason game due to injury, Harsh rebounded with a standout performance against the Carolina Panthers in the second preseason game. He recorded three tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, two quarterback hits, and one pass breakup, demonstrating his ability to contribute both as a pass rusher and run defender.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans noted that Harsh's versatility likely contributed to his selection for the roster. While celebrating this accomplishment, Harsh remains focused on the work ahead, stating, "Even still now, like, I haven't done it yet. So, still got a lot more work to do."
