A football player at Crandall High School sustained injuries during practice on Wednesday and was airlifted for medical treatment. This incident occurred at the PIT in Crandall, which is located about 20 miles east of Dallas.

Crandall Independent School District (ISD) communicated via social media to update the community regarding the helicopter landing near the baseball fields, which was essential for the student's transport to receive advanced medical care. The district also emphasized the importance of respecting the family's privacy during this challenging time, stating, "Our thoughts are with the student and the student's family."
