Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue did not participate in Tuesday's joint practice with the New Orleans Saints because of a shoulder injury, as reported by Patrik Walker from the Cowboys' official site.
In the Cowboys' preseason opener last weekend, Blue had 10 touches and gained a total of 34 yards. He is anticipated to receive significant playing time this preseason as he competes for the backup running back position behind Javonte Williams.
However, if Blue is unable to recover in time for the upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals this Saturday, Malik Davis may have the opportunity to compete for the RB2 role. Further details regarding the extent of Blue's injury have not yet been provided.
