The City of Dallas Housing & Community Empowerment Division is inviting residents to attend a Fair Housing Community Connect Tour. This initiative aims to expand access to fair housing services by bringing staff support directly into Dallas communities. The goal is to reduce barriers, build trust, and empower residents through convenient, neighborhood-based assistance.

During the event, residents will have the opportunity to access a variety of fair housing services. Staff members will provide assistance with filing discrimination complaints and conduct onsite intake interviews. They will also share information on reasonable accommodations and modifications.

Attendees can receive help identifying potential discriminatory practices and obtaining referrals to appropriate resources. The division will offer multilingual educational materials and answer questions to ensure residents understand their protections under fair housing laws.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will take place at the Churchill Recreation Center, located at 6906 Churchill Way, Dallas, TX 75230.

Residents are encouraged to attend to get facts about their housing rights. The City of Dallas Housing & Community Empowerment Division continues to make these services available directly within neighborhoods to ensure broader accessibility for all Dallas residents.
