The City of Dallas Housing & Community Empowerment Fair Housing Division has announced the schedule for its Fair Housing Community Connect Tour. This initiative is designed to expand access to Fair Housing services by bringing staff support directly into Dallas neighborhoods. The program aims to reduce barriers, build trust, and empower residents through convenient, neighborhood-based assistance.
During each stop on the tour, residents will have the opportunity to access a variety of Fair Housing services. These services include assistance with filing discrimination complaints, onsite intake interviews, and information on reasonable accommodations and modifications.
Staff members will also help identify potential discriminatory practices, provide referrals to appropriate resources, offer multilingual educational materials, and answer questions to ensure residents understand their protections under Fair Housing laws.
