Twenty-four community-based organizations across Texas received a combined total of $754,250 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) through its Partnership Grant Program. The awards were announced on September 3, 2026, in Irving, Texas, as part of a broader initiative that distributed more than $1.8 million across the bank’s five-state region. The event marked the 30th anniversary of the grant program.

The funding was provided in collaboration with 16 member institutions of FHLB Dallas. Under the program structure, member banks contribute between $500 and $5,000 to a nonprofit, and FHLB Dallas matches that contribution at a 5:1 ratio. This matching process allows a single member to support an organization with up to $25,000.

Greg Hettrick, senior vice president and director of Community Investment at FHLB Dallas, stated that the program strengthens member impact by providing matching funds that enable local organizations to expand their work. He noted that the bank values its relationships with members and that the grant program helps advance those connections in meaningful ways.

Recipients included organizations in Austin, Bacliff, Dallas, and El Paso. In Austin, BigAustin received a $10,500 grant from Encore Bank, while the Economic Growth Business Incubator received three separate grants totaling over $66,000 from Encore Bank, Texas Capital Bank, and Woodforest National Bank. In Bacliff, The BridgePath received three grants from Hancock Whitney and Prosperity Bank, with individual awards ranging from $15,000 to $30,000.

In Dallas, the Dallas Housing Coalition received a $30,000 grant from Charles Schwab Bank. The South Dallas Fair Park Innercity Community Development Corp. received four grants from b1 Bank, Charles Schwab Bank, Inwood National Bank, and Woodforest National Bank, with individual awards between $12,375 and $20,625.

SouthFair Community Development Corp. received three grants from Inwood National Bank, Charles Schwab Bank, and American First National Bank, each totaling approximately $21,666.

In El Paso, Habitat for Humanity El Paso received a $5,000 contribution from WestStar Bank. The specific match amount and total grant for this recipient were not fully detailed in the provided source text.
