The Dallas Mavericks organization is supporting local families with attendance costs for the upcoming State Fair of Texas. The NBA franchise has partnered with the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department to distribute complimentary admission passes specifically for teenagers.
Through this collaboration, the Mavericks donated $5,000 to the department’s Teen All-Access Pass program. These funds are designated to cover the expense of the fair tickets for eligible youth residents.
The free passes are available for collection at any City of Dallas Recreation Center. Distribution occurs during standard operating hours and is limited by supply. To receive a pass, individuals must be between the ages of 13 and 17 and present valid proof that they reside within the City of Dallas.
Once claimed, the passes serve as tickets. Attendees can present them at the State Fair admissions counter to enter the event without paying the standard fee.
General admission for the 2026 State Fair of Texas went on sale earlier this week. The annual event is scheduled to operate daily from September 25 through October 18. The fairgrounds are located at Fair Park in Dallas.
