A man remains in critical condition following a shooting incident in Fort Worth on Thursday evening. The city is located approximately 31 miles west of Dallas.

Fort Worth police dispatched officers to the 1700 block of San Rafael Street at 9:52 p.m. Thursday after receiving a report of a possible shooting. Upon arrival, law enforcement located a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds to his torso and shoulder.

The injured individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not disclosed the specific medical facility or the victim's identity.

Detectives are currently working to identify those responsible for the attack. As of the latest update, no suspects have been taken into custody.

The investigation remains active. Further details regarding the motive or the identity of the shooter are not yet clear.
