Fort Worth is located approximately 31 miles west of Dallas. Local authorities confirmed that a traffic collision occurred Thursday night involving a vehicle operated by an individual suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. The incident took place at an intersection where Fort Worth police officers were responding with emergency lights and sirens activated.

According to police statements, the officers were traveling through the intersection when the other driver failed to yield right of way, leading to the impact. The driver of the non-police vehicle was identified as intoxicated by law enforcement officials at the scene.

Following the crash, the driver was transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. After receiving care, the individual was moved to the Tarrant County jail for processing. Law enforcement has not yet released the name or other identifying details of the person arrested.

The two Fort Worth police officers involved in the collision were examined by medical personnel at the scene. Officials stated that both officers were cleared by medical staff and have been released from care. No injuries to the officers were reported as serious.
