Encouragement Media Group has officially launched Fuzión Radio on the KZMJ 94.5 FM signal in Dallas. The launch follows an agreement in which the group acquired the frequency from Urban One for $6 million. This transaction was part of a larger exchange of radio stations in the Dallas market that was reported earlier this year.
KZMJ now serves as the flagship station for the Fuzión network. The network operates 18 stations throughout the Southwest, with signals in Las Vegas, Southern California, Albuquerque, and East Texas.
Troy Kriechbaum, president and chief executive officer of Encouragement Media Group, stated that the Dallas-Fort Worth area is where he was raised. He expressed enthusiasm about bringing Christ-centered music, biblical teachings, and culturally relevant content to the 94.5 FM frequency.
Brenda Águila, vice president of Spanish Ministries for Encouragement Media, described the launch as an opportunity to serve the Hispanic community in the region. She characterized the station as a daily companion offering hope through music and biblical encouragement. Águila added that the network aims to support families across the Dallas-Fort Worth area by reminding them of religious faithfulness.
