Dock Local, a casual seafood restaurant founded by Chef Brett Curtis, is scheduled to open its newest Dallas location at the Dallas Farmers Market on July 16, 2026. This venue marks the brand’s fourth outpost in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and its fifth location nationwide, extending its presence across Texas and Tennessee.

The new establishment will offer a menu centered on scratch-made seafood and coastal favorites. Signature items include Maine Lobster Rolls, seafood tacos, The Original Crab Queso, and the Lobsta Grilled Cheese. The location will also feature a raw bar and rotating Chef’s Catch specials exclusive to the Dallas Farmers Market site.

A full bar program will be available, highlighting signature cocktails such as the Blue Coastal, Lemonade Mule, Dock Ranch Water, Blueberry Bourbon Smash, and the DockaRita. Non-alcoholic options include mocktails like the Watermelon Paloma and Cucumber Mint Cooler. The beverage list also encompasses an approachable wine selection and a variety of bottled, canned, and draft beers, with many pours sourced from local Dallas-Fort Worth breweries.

Curtis described the opening as a milestone that places the brand within one of Dallas’s most energetic food communities. He stated that the goal is to create a welcoming environment for locals, visitors, families, and downtown guests. The concept emphasizes sustainably sourced seafood and chef-driven execution, aiming to make premium seafood accessible in landlocked markets while maintaining the hospitality associated with the brand since its inception as a food truck in 2016.

The Dallas Farmers Market location is designed to provide a high-energy, casual setting. Curtis noted that the market has long been a gathering place for food enthusiasts and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to that tradition. The restaurant plans to serve the community and establish itself as a regular destination for guests seeking coastal cuisine.
