The Texas Democratic Party has announced plans to establish a dedicated media center in Dallas next week. The facility will serve as a hub for commentary and media availability while the Republican National Convention takes place.
State, local, and national Democratic officials will utilize the space to host news briefings and remain accessible for interviews throughout the duration of the event. Members of the media who have received proper credentials will be granted access to party representatives at the Democratic Media Center beginning on Tuesday.
Kendall Scudder, chairman of the Texas Democratic Party, is scheduled to initiate the party’s weekly schedule with a media briefing on Tuesday at 3 p.m. This initial session will outline the Democratic response plan for the upcoming days.
Formal news conferences featuring leaders from both state and national levels are set for Wednesday and Thursday. Morning sessions for both days are planned for 10:30 a.m., followed by afternoon briefings and question-and-answer periods at 3 p.m.
