Dallas, Texas — The Dallas Mavericks have set their roster for the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, a group that puts the franchise's draft haul on full display. First-round selections Morez Johnson Jr. and Sergio De Larrea anchor a squad that tips off Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.

Johnson, the ninth overall pick out of Michigan, headlines the roster after signing his rookie contract on Thursday. De Larrea, the 25th pick acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers, signed his own four-year deal on Friday and will wear No. 55 for Dallas. The Spanish guard averaged 9.4 points and 3.5 assists for Valencia Basket last season, earning Liga ACB Best Young Player honors.

The roster carries a distinctly international flavor, with players representing five countries beyond the United States. De Larrea is joined by Spanish twins Guillermo and Jorge Diaz Graham, England's Tobi Lawal, Russia's Vsevolod Ishchenko, and Canada's Ryan Nembhard. Second-round picks Lawal (48th) and Ishchenko (56th) round out the draft class.

Three holdovers from last season's Mavericks roster return for summer play. Nembhard averaged 6.6 points and 5.3 assists in his rookie campaign, while John Poulakidas contributed 8.8 points in 13 late-season appearances and Tyler Smith added 4.7 points in 12 games.

Joe Boylan, a newcomer to head coach Dusty May's staff, will coach the summer squad. The schedule includes four preliminary games at Thomas & Mack Center: July 9 against Golden State, July 11 versus the Lakers, July 13 against Memphis, and July 16 at Oklahoma City.
