FRISCO - Big 12 Football Media Days is returning to Ford Center at The Star, about 25 miles north of Dallas, for a two-day college football preview on July 7-8.
The event is the conference's preseason media hub. Coaches and selected players rotate through interviews, television hits and press sessions before the season begins.
The Dallas-area connection is obvious: The Star is the Dallas Cowboys' headquarters, and the Big 12 is using the venue as a national college football stage. Colorado coach Deion Sanders is expected to draw a crowd, while Commissioner Brett Yormark's remarks and several notable quarterbacks will drive coverage.
