Chourio, Contreras homers lift Brewers past Rangers 5-3

Milwaukee’s offense generated significant momentum in the first inning, powered by back-to-back home runs that set the tone for the contest. Jackson Chourio opened the scoring with a blast to center field measuring 396 feet. Shortly after, William Contreras added to the lead by hitting a home run to left field that traveled 409 feet.

The Brewers extended their advantage in the second inning when Luis Lara singled to center field. Christian Yelich crossed the plate during the play, while Lara was thrown out at second base. The extra-base hit and run combined to push Milwaukee’s lead to 3-0 before Texas could respond.

Rangers Fight Back
