Walbert Urena delivered a masterful performance on the mound, pitching six innings without allowing a run while striking out five batters. His outing was the cornerstone of the Los Angeles Angels' offensive explosion against the Texas Rangers, securing an 8-8 win for Urena and a 7-0 victory for his team at Angel Stadium.
Uena faced minimal pressure throughout his time on the field. He issued two walks but kept the Rangers' lineup off the scoreboard entirely, allowing only two hits over six innings. His efficiency set the tone for the Angels, who would go on to score seven runs in total.
Angels Offense Explodes
The Angels broke through in the second inning against Rangers starters Jacob deGrom and Peyton Gray. Anthony Frazier singled to left field, allowing Michael Guzman to score. Frazier advanced to third but was thrown out trying to score on a play involving Lowe, making the score 1-0.
