Decisive Performances
The Dallas Cowboys secured their first victory of the preseason with a 17-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks, thanks largely to the dual-threat performance of receiver Camden Brown. Brown hauled in two touchdown passes, providing the offensive spark that separated the two squads at Lumen Field on Sunday.
Brown finished with three receptions for 62 yards and two scores. His first came in the second quarter on a 39-yard connection from quarterback Sam Howell, followed by a two-yard grab in the third period from Joe Milton III. Both touchdowns were accompanied by successful kicks from Brandon Aubrey, extending the Cowboys' lead to 10-7 before halftime and ultimately 17-7 after the third quarter.

Seattle opened the scoring early in the first quarter when quarterback Drew Lock found Montorie Foster Jr. for a five-yard touchdown pass. Jason Myers’ extra point gave the home team a 7-0 advantage that held until the second period.
Dallas responded with a field goal from Aubrey, cutting the deficit to 7-3 before Brown’s long touchdown strike turned the momentum. The Cowboys added their final points in the third quarter on Milton III’s connection with Brown. Despite outscoring Seattle 17-0 over the final three quarters, Dallas could not overcome the early hole, and the Seahawks failed to score again.
