Noah Brown, a former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, marking a new chapter in his NFL career. The Raiders announced the addition of Brown to their active roster, making room by releasing defensive tackle Benito Jones.

Brown, who spent the last two seasons with the Washington Commanders, faced significant injury challenges, missing 19 games during that period. Despite these setbacks, he demonstrated his value when healthy, recording 40 receptions for 536 yards and one touchdown, averaging 13.4 yards per catch, showcasing his ability to contribute beyond just blocking.

Drafted in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by Dallas after his college career at Ohio State, Brown became known for his reliability and versatility. He played a crucial role in the Cowboys' offense, particularly in the 2022 season, where he caught 43 passes for 555 yards and three touchdowns, serving as a dependable secondary option for quarterback Dak Prescott.

After leaving Dallas, Brown signed with the Houston Texans, where he had 33 receptions for 567 yards and two touchdowns in his only season, averaging an impressive 17.2 yards per reception. Over his NFL career, he has accumulated 155 catches for 2,083 yards and six touchdowns, reflecting his steady presence in the league.

The move to Las Vegas provides Brown with a fresh start as he looks to regain momentum after his injury struggles. While the Raiders do not expect him to be the focal point of their offense, his experience and toughness could enhance their receiving corps.

Brown's journey serves as a testament to his perseverance, having successfully navigated the challenges of being a seventh-round pick and lasting nine seasons in the NFL.
