Visitors attending the World Cup in Texas have flocked to the Fort Worth Stockyards to experience local heritage. The historic district, located approximately 31 miles west of Dallas, has become a gathering point for international supporters looking to engage with regional traditions.

The area’s twice-daily cattle drive has drawn particular attention from travelers. Daniel Scharbel, a fan from Austria, described the longhorn cattle as impressive and noted that such animals are not found in his home country. He remarked that the scene matched his expectations based on movies.

Clauvio Varela, who supports the Argentina national team, expressed his enjoyment of the location. He stated that the environment captures the essence of cowboy life and rural country culture.

The Stockyards has also served as a cultural exchange point for retail workers. Lindsey Perales, who works at Will Leather Goods near the cattle drive, noted that she finds it entertaining to interact with fans who have many questions about the area. On the day of the report, she was designing custom leather tags intended as keepsakes for out-of-town visitors.

Case, a resident of Chicago originally from Japan, visited Texas for the first time during the tournament. He described the experience as very Texan and expressed particular appreciation for the local Buc-ee’s convenience stores. He and his daughter spent time in the district between games.

Scharbel praised the hospitality of the region. He stated that people in Texas and across the United States are nice and that he loves being in the country as a host for the event. Workers like Perales aim to provide a welcoming experience that visitors will remember long after their stay.
