A Dominant Start

Houston responded to the Chargers' opening three-point field goal by Cameron Dicker with their only score of the game: a five-yard touchdown pass from Davis Mills to Jared Wayne in the first period. However, the Texans could not maintain momentum as the second quarter progressed.
Second Half Control
The Chargers’ defense stifled Houston’s offense for the remainder of the contest. Cameron Dicker added another field goal in the third quarter, pushing the score to 13-7. The game remained close until the fourth quarter, when Los Angeles pulled away decisively.
Johnson continued his efficient performance with a one-yard run in the fourth quarter, followed by a successful two-point conversion run by himself, increasing the Chargers' lead to 21-7. Devonte Ross then caught a three-yard pass from DJ Uiagalelei for another touchdown, sealing the victory at 27-7.
