Dallas, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.7050 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 22, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.5830 yesterday. That is up from $3.5700 a week ago but higher than $3.2900 a month ago.
The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.6800, while the national average is $4.0600. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 42 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.7870, drivers are paying about 92 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.9570 per gallon, AAA reported.
