Fisk Electric Company has secured an electrical services contract valued at approximately $143 million for the construction of a new pediatric facility in Dallas. The project is a joint development between Children's Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center.
The contract was awarded to Fisk Electric, which operates as a subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation. The company stated that the contract value will be included in its backlog for the second quarter of 2026. Electrical construction work on the site has already begun.
Fisk Electric’s responsibilities involve installing electrical systems and components for a significant portion of the new 4.9 million square-foot facility. The complex will feature two 12-story towers and one eight-story tower. These structures are designed to house 552 inpatient rooms dedicated to specialized pediatric care.
The facility will include units for a pediatric intensive care unit, a neonatal intensive care unit, stem cell transplants, a cardiovascular intensive care unit, and hematology and oncology services. Additional amenities planned for the campus include two helicopter pads, a kitchen, a dining room, and a conference center.
Substantial completion of the project is anticipated in the fall of 2030. Tutor Perini Corporation, which has provided construction services since 1894, describes itself as a provider of civil, building, and specialty construction services globally. The company noted that it often self-performs multiple project components, including electrical work.
