The J. Alexander Law Firm is organizing a series of back-to-school events in partnership with 97.9 The Beat and Hibbett Sports. The initiative provides free backpacks to every school-age child present, with no requirements for purchase, enrollment proof, or paperwork. Distribution continues until supplies run out.
Four separate events are scheduled for Sundays between August 16 and September 6, 2026. Each session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The first two events take place in Fort Worth, while the latter two are located in Dallas.
The first Fort Worth event is set for August 16 at the Hibbett Eastchase location at 1450 Eastchase Parkway, Space 200. The second Fort Worth event occurs on August 23 at Hibbett Renaissance Square, 2714 Renaissance Square. In Dallas, the third event is scheduled for August 30 at Hibbett Pinnacle, 4424 Dallas Fort Worth Turnpike, Space 3.
The final event takes place on September 6 at Hibbett Fair Park, 1441 Robert B Cullum Blvd, Suite 130.
Families are instructed to walk in with their child during the designated hour to collect a backpack from the J. Alexander Law table near the front of the store. While advance sign-up is not mandatory, it helps staff set aside an item. Bilingual staff members will be available at all four locations to assist attendees.
