The Women's National Basketball Association revealed the starting lineups for the 2026 All-Star Game on Thursday, highlighting two players from the Dallas Wings franchise among the ten selected athletes. Guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepherd will begin the exhibition match as starters.
Bueckers secures her spot as a starter for the second straight year, following her initial selection as a rookie in 2025. She leads all fans in voting, according to the league. Her selection reflects strong support across all voting categories; she ranked first among fellow players and second among media members in the guard position. This season, she has placed within the top ten league-wide for both scoring and assists per game.
Shepherd, entering her sixth year in the league, will participate in her first All-Star Game. Her current season statistics include recording two triple-doubles, a feat no other WNBA player has matched this year. She ranks second in the league for rebounds at 11.5 per game, sixth in shooting percentage, and thirteenth in assists.
The remaining eight starters include several prominent figures from other teams. Indiana Fever guards Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, along with forward Aliyah Boston, are selected. Minnesota Lynx forward Natasha Howard and rookie Olivia Miles, a former Texas Christian University standout, also start. Breanna Stewart represents the New York Liberty, Gabby Williams the Golden State Valkyries, and A'ja Wilson the Las Vegas Aces.
Dallas Wings rookie Azzi Fudd received significant recognition in the fan voting process, ranking fourth among guards and tenth overall. While she is not a starter, she remains in contention for a reserve spot, which will be chosen by head coaches. The reserve roster is scheduled to be announced next week.
