The assessment, conducted by RotoGrinders, evaluated 343 American municipalities with populations over 100,000 to identify optimal locations for viewing gatherings.
The study assigned Dallas an overall score of 43.4 out of 100. The city performed particularly well in the Match-Watching Convenience and Affordability category, earning a score of 75.0, which placed it among the highest in the top ten. Dallas also received a score of 51.4 for its watch party culture.
Several practical factors contributed to the high ranking. The analysis found that 55.56% of group-stage matches kick off between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time in Dallas, offering convenient viewing windows for evening gatherings. Additionally, the average price for a pint of beer in the city is $7.00, a cost factor that made it a practical choice for fans compared to other top-ranked locations.
San Francisco, California, led the list with a score of 54.5. New York, New York, followed with 51.8. Atlanta, Georgia, took fourth place with 46.4, and Washington, D.C., rounded out the top five with 45.3.
