Dallas Fire Rescue responded to a significant structure fire at the Campbridge Park Condominiums located at 11490 Audelia Road in Northeast Dallas early Friday morning. The incident, which began around 1:00 a.m., resulted in the displacement of more than 40 residents and the destruction of at least 24 condominium units.

Firefighters arrived to find flames erupting from the roof of the three-story building. Dallas Fire Rescue officials stated that initial attack teams attempted to combat the blaze offensively but quickly determined the fire had reached advanced stages. Consequently, a second-alarm response was dispatched, followed shortly by a third-alarm call for additional resources. At the height of the operation, approximately 60 firefighters were on scene working to contain the blaze.

Emergency officials confirmed that no injuries were reported among the residents or the first responders. However, the impact on the housing complex was severe. One resident described the chaotic scene to NBC 5, noting that visibility was so poor upon exiting their unit that they had to crawl down three flights of stairs. The same resident observed that their condo was completely gone upon looking back at the building.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Dallas Fire Rescue has not yet released details regarding the origin or spread of the flames. The Red Cross and other support agencies typically assist displaced residents in such incidents, though specific details about ongoing relief efforts were not provided in the initial report.

The Campbridge Park Condominiums are situated in Northeast Dallas, a area known for its residential communities and proximity to major thoroughfares. The full extent of the property damage and the timeline for rebuilding are not yet clear. Authorities continue to monitor the scene to ensure the structure is safe and to prevent any reignition.
