A pedestrian has died following a collision in Dallas on Wednesday night, prompting a hit-and-run investigation by local authorities.
Dallas Police Department officers arrived at the intersection of South Buckner Boulevard and Elam Road shortly after 10:30 p.m. to respond to reports of a serious crash. Upon arrival, they discovered a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
The individual who was hit was taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Police confirmed the fatality but did not release the victim's identity or age at this time.
